The Laver Cup pits six of the best men’s tennis players from Europe against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world over three days of intense team competition. The Laver Cup website was being redesigned and redeveloped and Spark Digital was approached to assist with the redevelopment.
Strategy
The redevelopment will consist of 3 phases: A sales period phase which will include pages including homepage, tickets, hospitality, travel, accommodation, how it works page, captains, Rod Laver page, static history and records, news, gallery, video (all with filtering), gravity forms feeding mail chimp, terms and conditions, privacy and sponsors.
Deliverables
A more flexible, component-based setup was developed to give the Laver Cup team more adaptability when needing to promote, market and push content and products on the website. A mix between automation and manual setup was implemented for matches, schedules and players. The new site has improved web performance, optimisation and page loading speeds.
