Career planning for students with disabilities

The Department of Education and Training is a Victorian government department and offers learning and development support, services and resources for all Victorians.

Strategy

As part of an education program, a suite of web-based careers resources for young people with disabilities as well as their parents/carers, career practitioners and teachers were to be redeveloped.

The updated resources were to create best-practice careers and pathways planning for students with disabilities, bringing together information on a broad range of options available to young people with disabilities.

Deliverables

Spark developed an innovative interactive component for students with disabilities allowing them to create a profile, explore their experiences and interests, and list out their career goals and plans.
