Spark Digital developed the Become web app – a series of four web-based interactive modules to help people who have experienced trauma and have a history of substance abuse.
Strategy
The Centre for Brain and Mental Health Research (CBMHR) is a multi-disciplinary clinical research team based at the University of Newcastle. The web app was planned, designed and build by Spark Digital in collaboration with the UON team.
The modules were designed to help people to learn to heal one another, restore relationships and restore well-being through the power of language, physiology and changing social conditions. The activities proposed could be completed using a narrative approach.
Deliverables
The app includes interactive activities with opportunities for drawing, art or uploading a photo, checking in, watching a video and listening to audio, and journalling/writing. The app integrates with the eCliPSE platform.
