Accredited Energy Solutions (AES) is a trusted rebate agency operating under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. It simplifies the rebate process for heating, cooling and hot water contractors by managing compliance, documentation and training, enabling installers and partner businesses to focus on delivering energy efficiency upgrades while accessing program benefits more efficiently.

We worked with AES to design a secure digital platform that simplified the administration of the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. The goal was to replace fragmented, paper-based processes with an integrated web and mobile solution that streamlined documentation management, job tracking, compliance verification, Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificate (VEEC) management and financial oversight.

The platform was designed to provide AES administrators and partner businesses with a central dashboard for managing every stage of the rebate process—from creating jobs and managing installers through to submitting documentation, tracking VEECs and monitoring financial activity. Automated validation checks ensured required information and supporting documents were complete before submission, reducing errors and improving compliance.

A companion iOS and Android app was also designed for field installers, enabling them to create jobs, upload geo-tagged and time-stamped photos, securely store licences and receive real-time quality feedback while onsite.

AES is a secure, cloud-based web and mobile platform designed for administrators, partner businesses and installers participating in the VEU program. It streamlines job tracking, compliance verification and financial management, making it easier to meet regulatory requirements while delivering energy efficiency upgrades.

AES administrators access a secure dashboard using multi-factor authentication to oversee platform activity, manage users, monitor compliance, generate and submit VEEC batches, track certificate approvals, manage financial transactions and receive alerts for overdue tasks or compliance issues.

Partner businesses can create and manage jobs, assign installers, monitor VEEC progress, generate invoices and VEEC forms, and upload supporting documentation including certificates of electrical safety (COES), certificates of compliance (COC), scrap metal records and invoices. Built-in validation ensures submissions meet required formats and mandatory fields before they are lodged.

Installers use the iOS and Android mobile app to create jobs, upload geo-tagged and time-stamped photos based on job type, capture job information, securely store licences and receive immediate quality feedback to help ensure VEU compliance.

Deliverables

The project delivered a secure web and mobile platform that enables AES to manage the Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEEC) program on behalf of its clients.

The solution included a responsive web application for AES administrators and partner businesses, together with native iOS and Android applications for field installers. The mobile apps enable installers to create jobs, upload geo-tagged and time-stamped photos, capture digital signatures and continue working offline, with automatic synchronisation once reconnected.

We also delivered a comprehensive VEEC certificate management system for creating, validating and tracking certificate submissions, supported by a client portal for monitoring project progress, submission history and compliance status. On the administrative side, the platform includes tools for user management, licence management, content administration, reporting and financial oversight.

Built with enterprise-grade security to meet privacy and regulatory requirements, the platform was delivered with user documentation, training and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement.
