Penske – Detroit iOS and Android app

BACKGROUND
Detroit is a world leader in building and servicing truck engine platforms, owned by Penske Power Systems, the Detroit brand engenders extreme brand loyalty in the trucking community.  Detroit approached Spark Digital to build an app for their core market, the truck driver on the road in both Australia and New Zealand.

STRATEGY
One of the key objectives is to reduce the telephone calls to the Detroit service centre by drivers enquiring about a sequence of appearing alert dashboard lights.  By using the app to reference and interpret the sequence of flashes the drivers is easily able to establish the problem and take appropriate action..

DELIVERABLES
An iOS and Android app was planned, designed, built and tested by Spark Digital. The app included a fault code search, information about their Detroit engine and helpful information for regenerating the truck engine. The app also includes other valuable information including location services for drivers to search on nearby service centres and roadside stops

Clos Cachet – eCommerce Website

BACKGROUND
Clos Cachet (klo Kash-ey) is an online retailer of some of France’s finest wines and founded by Alexandre Rougeot a celebrated sommelier. Spark was approached to build a bespoke website using WooCommerce, the most popular eCommerce solution on the web.

STRATEGY
The creation of a new responsive, mobile and search engine friendly website was planned, incorporating WooCommerce to drive sales.  Spark also built the option for users to be become subscribers and  receive a wine delivery at pre-determined intervals, offering convenience to the customer and forecastable sales revenue to the business.

RESULTS
The site was successfully launched in 2015 and has been a great success. The business owner has full control over the website and regularly blogs, adds new wines and articles.

 

 

NOPTA

BACKGROUND
The National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA) is responsible for the day-to-day administration of petroleum and greenhouse gas titles in Commonwealth waters in Australia. NOPTA is the first point of contact for matters relating to offshore titles administration.

STRATEGY
A new site was planned to help to improve the appearance, content structure, and usability of the site. Mobile and tablet responsiveness was to be introduced to the site, as well as a search function allowing people to find content.

RESULTS
While the original brief called for a minor refresh to the design, spark planned, designed and built a more a more involved website redesign, which has resulted in a fresh new experience for content heavy government websites.

 

Premium Health – Website & Digital Marketing

BACKGROUND
Premium Health have been providing quality first aid at a national level for over 30 years.  Spark Digital was employed to design a new website using current best practice design. The old site was convoluted and not intuitive for the user to navigate when choosing to book a first aid or health care training course.

STRATEGY
The strategy was to rethink the structure and user flow of the existing website and redesign incorporating videos as a point of difference on the new website’s landing page.  Menu item selections were also condensed, giving the landing page a clean streamlined offering that is more user friendly. A keyword analysis was also conducted and the new site was structured out to include the result findings.

RESULTS
Premium Health are delighted with their new look website.  It has also acted as a catalyst for SEM, SEO and eDM communications driving people to their new website, there was also an in-house staff launch as well.

Shaynna Blaze

BACKGROUND
Shaynna Blaze is a star of TV shows including The Block and Selling Houses Australia as well as an award-winning Interior Designer who has created stunning interiors in residential homes and commercial spaces.

STRATEGY
Spark was approached to build a clean and modern blog and eCommerce website for her unique products to be sold online.

DELIVERABLES
The creation of a fresh, clean responsive, mobile and search engine friendly blog and shopping cart was planned, designed and built incorporating WooCommerce to drive sales.

Carlton Football Club – Select our Guernsey

Background
The Carlton Football Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious football clubs in the AFL. At the end of the 2014 season, Carlton Football Club offered members the opportunity to choose the Club’s home playing guernsey for 2015 and beyond.

Strategy
A micro site that displayed the rich history of the club and its guernsey was created. We created an online voting solution where paid up members could choose the 2015 guernsey. Once a vote was entered, it was stored in a backend system and we gave users the option to put their head on their preferred guernsey and ‘share’ via email and social media, spreading the reach of the campaign virally.

Results
Over 15,000 people visited the website in the month the promotion was on, with over 2,000 members voting in the guernsey selection. 2,500 users created their own guernsey image by uploading their face or selecting a player sharing over 300 times on social media.

Hyatt – My Lux List

Background
Park Hyatt Hotels offer premium luxury accommodation in locations around the world. An Asia-Pacific extension of a global campaign – #myluxlist was planned to invite guests to create a personal luxury list by uploading images onto Instagram.

Strategy
A multi-language microsite in English, Japanese and Korean was planned between Spark Digital and Hyatt Hotels. The site contained a competition element encouraging visitors to enter their Luxury list. A feed of Instagram entries into the competition was pulled into the site.

Results
The campaign period lasted one month in January/February 2015 and in this time the site received over 23,000 sessions, from 16,895 users with over 400 Instagram luxury lists entered.

Australian Open Tennis

Background

Prior to founding his own agency, our Director Nick Davies was the Web Designer and Digital Producer at Tennis Australia. In Nick’s role he designed and produced tennis.com.au, AustralianOpen.com, numerous other event websites including the Sydney and Brisbane tennis events as well as websites for stars such as Sam Stosur, Casey Dellacqua and Jelena Dokic.

Strategy
Spark Digital continues to work with Tennis Australia on digital strategy and project management for the Australian Open, one of the four grand slam tennis tournaments.
The Strategy for AustralianOpen.com is to bring the feeling of the tournament direct to virtual visitors with score feeds and heavy social integration.

Deliverables
In addition to the website, the world’s first grand slam iPad app was produced. Official iPhone and Android apps are also produced in conjunction with technology sponsor IBM. Our founder Nick Davies project manages the digital sponsorship activations of organisations including Emirates, Rolex, and TAC. In 2015, iBeacon technology was integrated into the event iPhone app.

Results
The Australian Open website receives over 15 million unique visitors over the 2-week tournament period. The iPad app was a first for grand slam tennis. Over 1 million people download the iPhone app worldwide.

Emirates Australian Open Series

Background
The Emirates AO Series is an exciting stepping stone to the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open. The Series begins in the New Year with the Hopman Cup and Brisbane International, followed by the World Team Challenge (Adelaide), the Hobart International and the Apia International in Sydney.

Strategy
For the 2015 series, Emirates became the title partner, and to celebrate a new website that brought the five pre Australian Open tournaments together was planned by Spark Digital and Tennis Australia.

Results
A responsive, mobile friendly website was planned, designed and developed by Spark Digital. The site featured a beautiful video background, player search feature, TV schedule, ticket promotions and social feed.

Pinnacle Group – Website

Background

Due to rapid expansion within their team and business, Pinnacle Group (formally Gerrard Bown) underwent a rebrand. As part of this, Pinnacle required a new website developed, to reflect their new brand and expansive client list.

Spark was engaged to develop the website. 

Strategy

Spark worked closely with the Pinnacle Group team from the project initiation through to delivery. 

Our process included a lengthly planning stage involving wireframes, design reviews and technical/functional specifications.

Deliverables

Spark created the site structure and theme as sections. As well as making the site more visually inviting, is also made it easier for Pinnacle to create new templates from the sections, or reuse sections (including content), within the site – ultimately making site editing more streamline.

The sites new design has received mass praise from both Pinnacle Group staff and their clients.
